3. Theme for CUMSA Ball 2012

The biggest event on our calendar is still a while away but it's time to get excited about it! In the spirit of democracy YOU get to suggest what you want for CUMSA Ball 2012! What would you like for a theme?  Who would you like to see perform? What other crazy suggestions can you come up with? (Is it time to challenge some people to perform during the ball in exchange for some jailbreak donations? Hmm.)

4. Memorial Service for Terrence Phang Ying Choy

Churchill College is organising a memorial on Saturday 26th November. CUMSA members and friend who knew him are invited to join the memorial. We will do this, first, by planting a tree in his memory in the copse at the top of the College grounds. This will happen at 3.30 pm, in an informal ceremony. The tree we will be planting will be a cherry, representing southeast Asia.
