Dear members,
The weather hasn't been more awesome, and what a better way to appreciate the warmth and the clear blue skies then by signing up for Sports Brunch, happening on the 8th of May at Lamma's Land. It will be our last event until the Garden Party so do take this opportunity to meet up with fellow Singaporeans before the intense mugging begins!
Agenda: 1. Sports Brunch 2. Causeway 3. Miscellaneous

1. Sports Brunch!
This year's Sports Brunch features games that are a breakaway from normal weekly sports! Going around the various games you will find that you will have to use your entire body: certainly all 4 limbs, and even your head as you strategise with your teammates. All the games are team-based, and with no one having a clear advantage via playing on a weekly basis, quickly learning to co-operate with teammates (something not often done in our individual chase for academic honours) is vital!
At the end of the day though, the CUMSA Committee hopes that everyone will have an enjoyable afternoon, and this event represents a final gift to you, along with our well wishes for the upcoming exams!
Registration is at http://cumsa.org/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=70. Please do so before *5 May* so that we know how much food to prepare in advance!"
We will also be collecting donations for SOS Children, the world's largest orphan charity. We hope that having eaten and drunk your fill, you will give generously so that others can too.

3.3 Internship Opportunities in Embedded Ecosystems
Below is an internship advertisement from Aeste Works (M) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia:
We are, a young company based in Kuala Lumpur, embarking on a project to build an embedded ecosystem as a platform for future applications. Our leading product is the world's smallest and fastest multi-threaded 32-bit embedded processor currently used by a number of organisations in US/EU.
We are currently looking for candidates to fill our internship positions. As a young company, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and to grow. We guarantee an internship experience unlike any other in Malaysia.
The work will involve a lot of programming in both C and C++ languages. The candidate is expected to know how to code and to have an understanding of microprocessor architectures and systems. An ability to read Verilog will be a plus.
We will provide a suitable avenue to learn low-level programming and processor micro-architecture intricacies. Due to the nature of the work, you will have an opportunity to publish a paper if there are useful results at the end of the internship.
Interested candidates are encouraged to write to
